Hello! This blog is mainly for my musings on American politics and pop culture, particularly as they intersect on issues of race, gender, and sexuality. I have been writing for newspapers, digital publications, and for my personal blog since high school. I received my Bachelor's degree in history from Georgia State University and my Master's degree in political science from the University of Alabama. While I am not a reporter per say, I try to approach blogging with a reporter's eye. I prioritize accuracy, nuance, and fairness while also being forthright about where I stand on the issues and the causes that matter most to me.
